Hi,
It might be better for the sale if it was registed, any photo's of the front and rear floor's before it was covered with the timber, was there any
rust or accident damage before it was painted, i am looking for a kombi but would like more photo's before i travel to inspect it

Hey vwo60,
Mate attached are more pics, but if you want them emailed to you let me know your email address. Kombi was in reasonably good condition rust wise.
Just cosmetically challenged more than anything and in pieces. Rust wise I can say it has had small rust repairs to the front steps. But that is about
it. The rear floor etc was all good. No rust to note in those areas. I think the battery tray may have had some work at one stage too. Overall rust
wise she is a clean bus. If you want more pics let me know or I can possibly video some of it and post on youtube if I can figure out how to do it.
I picked it up as a partially completed project. I had it painted etc and all interior down. was basically and empty shell as i got it.
No rego because it is a waste of money if it is just sitting around for to long before it sells. As states in the ad i can oragnise a blue slip for
any potentil buyer. Negotiable on price due to no rego.
Add more pics of what it looks like now.
jason, here is a pic... hey how cute,,,
open to offers
up she goes
Nice kombi! I agree with vw060, regardless of how nice it is I think buyers would be wary of a car which hasn't been registered or passed a roadworthy since it's restoration. Why haven't you registered it for yourself to drive? Surely you would've been excited to put a sticker on it and take it for that first drive yourself after the restoration was finished. I know that when I get a car finished I can think of nothing else except taking it for that first drive! Selling the car is usually the last thing on my mind.
To start with the car was restored with the intention of saving it and selling. My intention was to keep is from going to waste which has been achived. As mentioned before it is not registered because it is a waste of time and money. Most enquires have been from interstate. I have offered to supply a blue slip for any interested NSW buyers. Apart from holding someones hand and walking into the RTA with them i am not sure what else i can do. A blue slip is as good as rego minus the cost to myself. I have mentioned i am negotiable. Unlike some i am not flush with cash. No point putting rego on it for it to sit there like it is currently. I have a car I drive and do not need the additional cost. I have driven plenty of kombi's to know what they drive like. This one has been driven around my mates property and that is good enough for me. My acihievement and satisfaction is in completing the job, not from some wanker at the RTA telling me i can drive it on the road legally. If someone thinks it will sell with rego them please buy it from me. Put rego on it and add your mark up.
Now on ebay. Spread the word.
