Does anyone sell these in australia...? Or alternatively, if i machine down an old drum and get it studded what style of rotor do i buy that can be mounted to a machined drum?

Cheers

Hi

They look like Porsche 914 rotors, you would also need callipers and brackets as well.

yeah just get a set from vintage or classic or even sherman

Alternatively the EA falcon route if you want a challenge

I just spoke to shermans, He has a set of rear rotors for 300 bucks... Or he has the whole kit for $880, the ea route... any links. I have done various readings but cannot decide. Shermans have a solid rotor that i can use and is custom made... but apparently the others have the four ribs and may cause some issue if i decide to use porsche wheels ( five holes and four ribs?)? I can see the Empi ones all aver the US for under $400 but anything here and the cheapest is about $580:(:(:(:(

do a search with just EA in the criteria and my user name
Should come up there

I will link it up later when not on my mobile

Tapping 4 lug rotors for 5 lug is a bad move

no engineer would pass that and insurance would wipe you big time in an accident

My rota bug had porsche rims fitted by tapping 4 lug brakes

3 out of 5 holes only had 3-4 threads each

Just get some uniform thickness blanks

I never got round to adding pics of the blanks on that thread
