Hi,
I am selling my 1973 type 3 square back.
It has an undiagnosed engine issue (possibly broken valve or pushrod/tube).
Engine issue has now been solved - thank you waveman1500 - as such, there has been a price increase
It is a complete car and I was driving it almost every day, until it broke down a couple of months ago.
It comes with a spare set of carbs (that could probably use a rebuild) as well as 11 rims in total - i think there are 6 of the stock 15" and 5 of
the 14" (wide) steel rims. 8 of them have tires.
I have re-trimmed the interior in skull and cross bones pattern but the original interior panels will go with the car.
The rear brakes were completely rebuilt not long ago (by GHR).
It was/is a great little car and would be ideal if you need spares due to the rust in the body. All chrome work is there and in pretty good nick.
I am looking for $900 ono.
Give me a call or text on 0421 442 554 - Matthew and I'm in Hackham
** Visor not included in sale **
SA
also a few more detail forfor the sale
other wise you might get a pm from da BOSS
Dude! 600 buks
I will take it in a snap if I had 600 to spare and I lived in SA.
I would even drive from vic for that.
how rusty is the body? any structural problem in the engine bay? as the square were prone to it than the other type 3 models due to more flimsy rear
end.
what more details do you want?
the roof is fairly rusty along the rain gutters, I have ground out the worst and filled with bog (i don't have a welder, or I would have done it
properly). One of the engine mounts has a crack, but again, a welder would fix that pretty easily.
Cheers
Matt
!!! BARGAIN !!!
I'd certainly like to take a look. Will contact you.
Hey dude, I reckon that this would be better advertised in Cars for Sale rather than Parts for Sale as it's pretty complete and running.
is this still up for sale?
i have the cash, just let me know and ill book my flights.
any rego on it?
no rego.
it's a great little car, but probably not worth flying interstate for.
I also should mention that the clutch is starting to slip, still very drivable, but will need replacing in the not too distant future.
can you send me some pics of the rust to charlesdantzic@hotmail.com
