VW 1968 Beetle semi-auto IRS. Abandoned track car project. Unreg, VIN provided on request. Pan is converted to manual. (does not include gearbox shown in pics). Brake master cylinder, hard and rubber brake lines only two years old. Rebuilt pedal assembly, fresh acc and clutch cables. No petrol tank or steering column. Pan has had previous repairs so is a little untidy but solid. Near-side pillar rust has been repaired (needs finishing) and there is surface rust below rear window (interior). Partially sandblasted (nose/tail/wheelarches and four guards). Sills are solid, in fact superb. (being semi-auto, this is a German import and tends to resist tin worm better!). Shell has been partially seam-welded. Doors are from a late Super and swing very well. Trim holes welded. Wiring harness intact, with speedo. Sale includes front and rear guards (rears are late Superbug) - also sandblasted/primed ready for refinishing.

Also available is a six-point bolt-in Bond roll cage for another $750. In other words, if you buy the car, I will sell you the cage, if you want it. If not, I will tuck the cage under my bed for the future. A solid start for a budget race or dirt course/rally car or tidy up for street.
