1970 Lowlight panelvan with moon vents and early tailights 1600 twin port, manual gearbox

This van is originally a light blue color and has been re-sprayed once, the current paint has original faded sign writing from its original electrical contracting company.

The van has had some repairs made in lower doors and a repair in the rear quarter, these panels have been repainted in primer, though is otherwise a straight clean van.

The vehicle has rust in the front nose cone and window pillars.

It has a twin passenger seat (non walk through) that will need recovering and re-padding.

The van has also been updated with disc brakes and booster fitted from a 1971 bus, these were fitted by a vw mechanic in Annagrove NSW

The van has current NSW registration (due to expire in July 2011) and it can be transferred to Vic rego if required

I have recently fitted a new ignition switch, new 85 watt alternator, new stainless steel sports muffler and extractors, adjustable front beam and 15 inch empi alloy wheels with near new (95%) pirelli tyres.

It has a great stance but comes with the bumps when driving!!

I also have a new accelerator pedal kit that needs fitting, currently only getting 75% pedal.

Drive now as a rat and restore later $7500 or will negotiate without alloy rims

If its a non walk thru shouldnt it have the extra air vents on the sides???
