1962 Beetle Sedan

1962 model VW Beetle was assembled in their Australian Factory,and has been preserved unmodified ,in the same condition as when bought by its first owner in Sydney at that time. Original Service book and handbook,with invoices for work done by VW mechanics,come with the car.
The original Beryl Green finish is in fine condition inside and out ,all chromework and stainless steel is excellent,and there is no panel damage or rust whatsoever. The original jack is in place,and the spare wheel carries an original cross-ply tyre.The original 1200 cc motor and 6 volt electric system are in perfect running order.All window rubbers ,interior headlinings and German Square-weave carpeting were replaced with original materials.The car drives as new,and will cruise comfotably at freeway speed .It is a genuine collectors car because an original such as this is becoming very rare . As a mature enthusiast owner,I am selling because of lack of opportunity for me to enjoy driving it now.
The car has always been securely garaged, carefully maintained,and is registered in NSW until 9.10.11.
Since new,the car has recorded just 123,000 miles.
