Is it engineered or is it a pure drag wagon?

split09 - February 20th, 2011 at 06:57 PM

Was being built to engineer specs, this was being built as a daily driver. Modern ride, old school look. Ring him for more details. So to answer your question, no cerificate and no to pure drag car.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but can someone explain what that tubular thing mounted to the side window is? I see them from time to time on all sorts of veedubs but I'm still bamboozled? Haha thanks.
Nice SC by the way, if it were closer to me and certified id be rather keen.

That "tubular thing" is reffered as a swamp cooler. These were more popular in the states in the 50s which were on the passenger side hence you see a lot here on the drivers side. He converted this to the passenger side (correct position).

No, the engine has been mounted to fit under the tray and has inserted two inspection hatches which came out of a T3. Access is also obtained through treasure chest hatch and space lost there is gained from old engine bay.

Is this car still available

split09 - June 21st, 2011 at 08:43 PM

Yes and he has dropped it even lower!! Give him a call, this needs to go asap. Ute alone is just worth that. Completely rust free with clean gates, new interior, brand new auto shifter from states that cost $600 delivered, plus numerous other parts that come with ute.

Save this from scrap metal yard!!!

Would he being willing to sell the swamp cooler?
