[FS - QLD] 1958 VW Beetle 2nd owner $4000

I'm selling my 1958 VW Beetle (his name is ERIC) with alot of sadness I have owned this great litle car for about 10 years and the time has come to part ways with it as I need the money to do repairs the my house.

I am the 2nd owner and it has only 70,000+/-miles original on the clock. I have always owned VWs and this one was going to be the one I restord and left for the kids but that now will not sadly happen.

The car is 100% complete with original 36hp motor and gearbox, it has never been cut or modified in any way except for a 12V conversion at some point in its history. It comes with the correct year taillights and semiphores (original not reproduction new ones) which are both in mint condition.

The car is in very good condition for age, it has while in my care always been undercover, the body is very straight ie. the doors, bonnet and boot all close with a one fingure push and a nice click : )

There is a couple of scrape marks on the guards and some surface rust but nothing bad all of which would be an easy fix. You could leave it as is and have an awesome rat rod or it would be a fantastic start to a full resto.

I have never started the engine so I'm not sure of its condition and would suggest a rebuild.

I also have alot of spare that come with the deal, alot of bits and pieces, but I do have another gearbox with axles from an oval (same drivetrain as this car) another front end (if you wanted one to narrow) and a front oval clip (very hard to find!) plus a oval fuel tank plus a heap of other year gear as well.
