Just think of the possibilities:

I'm hardly a purist, but it seems a shame, although without knowing what it was like before being bajaed, you can't criticise. It's better than it ending on the scrap heap or rusting to nothing in a field or shed. I'm sure with enough money it could be returned to stock It would certainly get people talking (and perhaps yelling and brandishing sharp objects) at VW meets.
