[FS - QLD] 63 Standard Beetle Unfinished Project - SOLD

Hi all,

It is with regret I put up my 63 beetle project 4 sale.

Floor Pan has been stripped & re-painted with all new Brakes, Bearings, Tie Rods, Link Pins, King Pins & Drop Spindles. Box has had a seal kit through it, new Mounts & Axle rubbers & has been lowered 1 notch in the rear. Has good tryes (80%). Comes with a 1600 Twin Port Engine. Bug has been stripped for Paint & Panel. I have some extra spares to go with it. Body is good & solid for age with only a few minor rust areas. Some repair panels supplied. Its about 90% complete.

Can e-mail more photos if needed as I have heaps from tracking my progress from when I purchased the car.

I prefer to sell complete even though I could get more for it as parts. I dont want it wasted as is a great complete bug.

Time & money has forced the sale.

Rotissorie Included.

Harness has been clean cut at the base of the windscreen. Door cards are missing. Needs a new front apron & rear bumper mounts. These need repair as rusted. Seats will need recovering, but are there.

Can you explain the rust areas on the body? Photos maybe?


If you would Consider selling the body only including doors and glass. Without bonnet, guards or engine lid or front and rear aprons I would make you a VERY REASONABLE offer and arrange to pick up depending on rust.

IF you are interested and could forward photos to anthirongd@hotmail.com that would be great.

I know you want to sell complete however I need a new body and have a solid pan......maybe someone has a nice body and a rusty pan?
