Hi looking at selling my previous 1 owner 1966 type 3 squareback.it has been a bare metal resto.interior ans mechanical original.Genuine 66000mls original purchase receipt and books and keys.it is the straightest you will find no bog/filler,only driven 100 ks since.genuine enquiries only as want to go to a good home.regretful sale due to restoring a 1961 d/c kombi.
Might not be cheap but you wont find a better example

not fussed if it sells or not as it would be a nice match with my other 2 in process of resto.
the 1961 d/c splitty should be finished early next year and have now just got a 1954 oval beetle which is a very good car all the chassis has been restored lifted the body of today to get it blasted then have painted.not sure about colours for beetle and splitty yet.Always wanted to have type1 2 and 3.
Would be a great wedding car package as people will soon get sick of all these stretch hummers and 300c chryslers plus they charge a bomb to hire them.

sorry nsw but it sounds like young Lewis will appreciate a nice type 3 and will get used daily which is great as I have never had time to enjoy.
I know I will regret it in a few years but I am hoping to enjoy my 1961 Kombi d/c
