A friend of mine needs to sell a 68-69 odd model bug, it was his sons car which he had restored many years ago and spent quite a lot of money doing so, the motor has now died and the car has been sitting in his shed for many many years, there is the old motor and a fully reco,d motor to go with the car but no motor fitted, car does not run and i assume brakes need replacing from sitting for so long, bodywork is still in fairly good shape, a couple tiny rust bubles but hardly any, interior looks good,there is also a heap of spares he will supply for it,it has chrome mangels, need a good steel wool, some slight rust on rims

Just curious what makes this an 'odd model' bug?

Isn't it a normal 68-69 1500 bug with later high back seats and incorrect taillight lenses.

it was a figure of speech as i was guessing the year model
