Hi there,

I just tried to message you via the forums but it failed to send it.

Can you please possibly send me some images, and a bit more detail on the car (engine, suspension, body work) to mikinoz@mac.com

I am assuming it is registered in NSW still - and where about is the car located.

Thanks,

Michael.

these are the current pics as i have decided to leave flat four overiders on and have put another different set of wheels on. decided the standard steering wheel looked better as well. its hard to show the exact colour as in some shots it looks lilac, however it is definitely baby blue.the exhaust is being modified so it hides up behind the valance. car has been rewired as well as it shits me when things don,t work properly. will keep updating pics as i run out of charge in the battery. if thers any perticular photos needed just let me know

mikinoz - October 25th, 2011 at 08:18 AM

Thanks Scott. I appreciate the photos. Sounds like you have the same attitude as me, that if it needs fixing, just sort it properly.

I will have a conversation with my wife (as we are looking for the Type 3 for her) and let you know if we would like to arrange to inspect it.

Out of interest, the wheels that were on it, as I know you are keeping them, what would similar ones cost if we were wanting to buy that style?

Mick.

scot70wagon - October 25th, 2011 at 11:01 AM

the ones i have are flat 4 sprintstars. flat 4 don,t do them anymore as empi has bought the rights to them. Last time i spoke to rod penrose he was doing them for $475 a set of 4 with caps, then you simply need to flip the tyres over and away you go.the sprinstars are the best looking wheels for the car as i have 8 different sets on it since i,ve owned it .they're sporty without being to over the top. it is very easy to drive, all doors shut clean and crisply and is just a nice thing(no i,m not at all biased).on a different topic i also have a 1916 sitting on the shed floor which was built for this car available seperately
