I have a 40 foot container from California with 2 Splits arriving mid FEB. One is a Double Cab that I'm keeping, the other a 1959 SC in 90%
condition. She is a show winner no doubt about it. Straight NO rust perfect condition.
This 1959 Single Cab has gone through some work to make it an updated daily driver. Replaced doglegs, lower nose section and the bottom of the
tailgates. After repairing rust and other body imperfections the vehicle was painted. Safari Windows were installed along with welded in mounts for
the updated 3 point seat belts. The floor and under carriage were coated in Por 15 for rust protection and then painted the single cab Dove Blue and
White 2 tone. Repaired the wiring on the entire vehicle: Fuse box, taillights, headlights turns signals and gauges. Then a Bay Window 15 Gallon tank
was added for increased driving range. A Type 1 Center Section IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) with IRS Bug Transmission and Type 2 Trailing Arms
with 68-70 Rear Drums. A 70 Type 2 Front Beam with ball joints was retrofitted with 71 Disc Brakes and Wolfgang Wheel Adapters (5x112 to 5x205). Then
new shocks, dampeners, brake hoses, ball joints, wheel cylinders, master cylinders, calipers, shoes and master reservoir were added. The original
Stereo was repaired and is in great working condition. It’s been 4 year since this work has been done and it is still a solid running machine.
Powered by a very reliable 1600cc dual port with only 1800 miles on it since rebuild. I'm happy to sell as is landed in Brisbane. Or on the road with
compliance plate and roadworthy, your choice. Any questions please txt me or email.
Pick up is in Wynnum Brisbane, I'm asking $29000 all taxes and compliance, roadworthy. or $27000 as is.

Shame it will be LHD I am assuming?
Mitchell
No shame at all. Personally I don't mind LHD. I will only drive mine on weekends anyway. Conversion is easy, I wouldn't bother though. Keep in mind many more people drive LHD on this planet than RHD, so in years to come international buyers are going to rather LHD.

Thanks Pod, I've been trying to work out how to do that.
you use the IMG code line which pops up when you hover over your photos, just click on it and it will say copied in the box then you just paste it into the reply area here, just use a seperate line each photo
Hey. Love the ute. I am mearly curious though. Does it have sephamores? As it does not have indicators on the rear.
Cheers,
Brad
Indicators at the back are Aussie spec.
Why is it cheaper because its LHD? I would've thought more people would want LHD as they aren't as common here?
