[FS - WA] Early 55 Oval Beetle

Selling my Oval.
This Oval Beetle is one of the sought after “Early Oval Beetles” with original:
- Heart shaped tail lights
- Bat wing steering wheel
- Click-clack doors
- Straight gear lever
- Big 110mm dia fuel filler cap
- Original Bosch head lights
- Single tip exhaust
which differentiate this model from the later types built after 8/55

All original parts, that are very hard to find and expensive these days, are in good condition.

VIN #: 0828069
Engine: Standard 1200cc with manual choke
Gear box: Original Split case (unsycronised 1. Gear)

From 2008 to 2010 the car has been restored
(Colour: VW L320 Dolphin Grey Light)
The car is in rust free condition with most of the wearing parts replaced.

Major parts that have been renewed:
- New 6V battery
- New seat upholstery
- New carpet set
- New headliner
- New running boards
- New brakes (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and brake lines)
- New window rubbers all around,
- New Door rubbers,
- New bonnet rubber, engine lid rubber
- New wiper arms and rubbers

The car is registered in WA and went over the pits early 2011 without any issues.
The car is a very reliable mechanically sound vehicle where there is no cent to be spent in the forthcoming years. Just jump in, drive and have fun.

Parts which are not original for this year:
- Window winder are from a 56 model
- Chrome trim on running boards are 17mm wide and of a later model instead of 30mm

Is that a 120 MPH speedo? I didn't think you could go that fast in ovals :)

The speedo is in Km/h
Genuine VW Germany Speedo as fitted in ovals in 55.
