Recently Restored and resprayed. All new chrome hubs, rings, exhaust tips and running boards. New mechless MP3/radio tuner. Custom Body stands out of the crowd.

That's the thing with this car, it doesn't look the same as every other beetle. This car is for someone who wants to be different.

Still looks nice, even next to a Delorean...

PS if you want to know why someone would put HQ headlights in a beetle, the best bet would be to ask Volksvair, He'd know...

PPS FYI the headlights are brand new, so not old shit ones off a wreck or anything.

68 Custom Beetle

Ok ill say it, you don't have a hope in hell at selling it for 9k, I doubt it would go for 3k even then someone would only buy it and replace the ugly bits.
Sorry but its just what everyone else is thinking.

Its on ebay for 4k, So i guess its not too far off the mark

Other than the guards the rest of it is pretty much standard, and whats more in good condition and the engine was recently reco'd and runs like a charm.

Just put the post here if someone was a little bit interested in it. At this point I just want it out of my Garage.

If you want the guards you can have them for 4k and i'll throw in a 68 beetle....

does kinda look like an Ed Roth car from the front, maybe that what they were going for? (had to google that)

I bought the car as a project from Frank(Volksvair) and he had a corvair engine in it. Had the rear skirt removed, when i got it, but that is fixed obviously.

First car i've done from ground up.(Sold the orange parts beetle for 600 bucks with no engine, so its really strange that no ones interested in this one considering its just a beetle with some weird guards.)

Still there arn't many shifting on ebay ATM. Lets see how we go!

i have 15 tyre swans, 6 of them white walls, would you consider swapping for the guards,

Sell it for parts you will do a lot better with the sale, well most parts.

That price is the parts price! Buy it and strip it if that what you want. Shame there was a lot of work put into it.
