[WTB - VIC] Type 3 Fastback / Notch Project.
Major - January 25th, 2012 at 09:18 AM

Howdy all,

I am looking for either a type 3 fastback or notch project. Preferably a complete car. Condition I am not so concerned about as I am wanting something to restore.

Looking at around $1500.

Cheers Paul.

Cool thanks.

I know Ben, spoke with him a year or so ago when I was looking for a type 3 as a daily driver. Unfortunately circumstances changed at that time and I had to put that idea on ice. So now I just want a type 3 to sink my teeth into. Don't really want to spend anymore then $1500, but if the right car came along I might consider it.

Cheers Paul

i have a 65ish body on a 70's floorpan... no motor or interior
fairly complete otherwise or if not I should be able to help with some bits...

it has a roll cage in it - i was gonna build a salt lake race car with it... but it would also make a hot streeter

welcome to come have a look... but I'm heading interstate in a few weeks so it might need to be sooner than later...
:D

cheers Ben

Thanks for the heads up Ben. Will keep it in mind. Really want to try and get a complete car if possible.

Are you heading interstate for good, or just holidays? If you are going for good I am sure you wont be able to take all your type 3's with you! I can offer a good home!

Work - anywhere from 3monhs to two years at this stage
Sold a couple - keeping a couple - the race car is the only one really still up in the air... : )

Klaus - I will have a bit of a think about it. If you where is Vic I would be interested, however frieght would probably be a killer and I don't have the time to come and collect myself. However I will not rule it out completely.

Ben - how much you thinking for the race car?

Cheers Paul.

So very true mate!

Haven't ruled your car out completely. The great thing with yours is it is all there. Just need to weigh up my options and work out what is best for me.

Cheers Paul
