For sale is my 1973 Square. Pretty much straight stock bar a few accessories. Engine re-built and semi-restoration done about 5 years ago by PO. Originally wattle yellow, now red. Body is in good condition, no rust showing but a few spots bubbling up under the paint including top of the drivers fender and a tiny spot on the roof. Floor pan solid. Interior in good condition, drivers door card a bit ratty. (has later Beetle seats installed) Has Cd player and speakers built into a custom shelf under dash that can be easily removed if wanted. empi t-handle shifter, chrome mooneyes steering wheel (stock shifter and steering wheel come with car). New 3 piece venetians in the back. All door and hatch seals were replaced a few months back. $800 in exhaust work done about 6 moths ago to patch up a few leaks.
Comes with a set of uninstalled pop-outs with good chrome and decent seals, spare windsheld and drivers/passengers windows, NOS set of wiper arms, Bentley and Haynes manuals, and any other spares and bits I find aroud.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better '73 Square out there.
This has been my daily for the past 6 months or so, she runs strong and dependable. If your looking for a ride that is ready to go, here it is!
Currently has about 5 months of rego left.
I love this ride, but unfortunately my job description has changed a I've a lot more daily driving to do!

I really wish I could keep her for weekend cruises, but the problem is we've got two cars now, and the wife refuses to drive the square and we both need wheels for work. The square just isn't practical for my job (lots of stop and go city driving, maybe 300 k's a week) If I could justify having 3 cars, I'd keep her in a heartbeat, but alas I can't.
I hope not to be out of the scene for too long. You know I'll get board and pine for another!
