Any one with offers?

waveman1500 - April 19th, 2012 at 11:49 PM

Interesting project. Is there any reason why you chose the VQ? I assume that an RB26DETT swap was just too easy for you?! Surely a tuned RB26 would make enough power for anyone and they're a bolt-in swap?

VQ30 apparently has more torque.

I purchased this car with it already sourced. Hence why i am selling it. Dubs are my passion. A hell of a lot easier to work on.

That would be a grunty Mofo!

Usual hate r34 non GTR's but this is beautiful.

Good luck with the sale, I'm sure the right buyer will come along soon!

Cheers Ollie. I hope someone does soon. Tho, I notice that not many people are buying cars lately. There are some absolute bargains on here for sale that have sparked my attention, but am unable to make offers till this one is sold.

**Am willing to part out if anyone is intersted in parts. Contact me and we can discuss prices.

(I need this gone)

22k?

waveman1500 - May 23rd, 2012 at 08:47 PM

I hope you're advertising this elsewhere, because this is obviously the wrong place for it to sell.

To be honest, if you want the best price for it I think that you would be better off finishing the project and selling it as a running car. Don't forget that you can get a complete, running R34 GTT manual ready to drive away for under $20k. If you're selling a non-running project, it really needs to be priced substantially less than that, regardless of how much money you have invested in it.

It is advertised elsewhere. Just trying my luck here, as I am a member of this forum. No chance in finishing the project. I want to finish my vert and get something 'cooler' than an R34.

I am just hoping someone will see what work has gone into this, and realise that 20 odd k is a bargain. I am currently in the process of parting it out, for much less than what was paid for the parts.

68Volkaru - May 23rd, 2012 at 09:27 PM

Bugger it. I'll go to $20k.
