[FS - NSW] 1960 Karmann Ghia Coupe
ashbaxter - May 29th, 2012 at 09:40 PM

Hi All

The project is complete and that was the challenge and the enjoyment I was after so it's time to test the market before I advertise everywhere to sell her and move onto the next challenge.

Full body off restoration completed this year and registered February.

12v 1600tp with progressive webber and extractors.
Front disk brakes narrowed airkewld beam and lowered all round with empi 5, all new interior, new glass all round and tinted windows.

Way too many things to list but pretty much everything is new and although not an original restoration i think i have done a tasteful job.

I could make up an inflated price and play the sales game but the truth is i want $30000 or i'll hang onto it as i spent too much and worked too hard on it to give it away.

If you are a genuine buyer give me a call 0418689252...cheers Ash

What a lovely car.
Long way from that yellow, er, tub you started with.

ashbaxter - May 31st, 2012 at 09:42 PM

Thanks lucky Phil

Yes long road but I learnt a lot on the way
Hell of a learning curve but with a bit of luck if I can find a buyer it's time to move on
