Hi I'm seriously thinking about selling my '60 Ghia to fund a new project.
I bought her a few years ago from the 2nd owner, regoed and drove her for a year, took it to Byron Bay and down to Melbourne with no issues. Took it
off the road 18 months ago to do a semi resto.
1960 VW Karmann Ghia
12V electrics
1200 gearbox
unregistered
Complete with all parts
She was restored and painted 8 years ago but has been parked on the street for some of that time. Theres some rust bubbles in the doors, a dent in the
nose but she's mostly sound. Good pans.
Not installed but includes:
Rebuilt 1500, brand new exhaust. Needs carb and probably a good clean out again as its been sitting a while. It's bolted in but not hooked up yet.
Brand new TMI pale grey interior including seats & door cards.
New off white perforated headliner.
Oatmeal carpet.
US Spec tailights.
Needs for rego:
Interior retrimmmed and installed
Engine wired up (it's bolted in)
Tailights fitted
Engine lid replaced (large rust section at bottom) have sourced good engine lid, bumpers but not purchased yet.
I was always planning to just fit the new motor, replace the bumpers with good second hand ones and engine lid, fit the new interior, professionally
cut and polish, rego and drive it.
Please email me if you want more detailed pics. Car is located in Campbelltown NSW. Will need to be trailered home.
