1965 Notchback.
95% complete, is minus some interior door panels, front indicators.
Engine looks well maintained I’ve never put a battery in the car to run it though.
Engine also looks to have had a 12v conversion, but I’m no expert.
Rust, yes there is some; it’s a 50 year old car!
Some in the usual places, water ducts in the rear, rear passenger foot wells, drivers foot well.
Surface rust on most panels a bit more than in the older photos, call it patina!
If I can get what I paid for her, I’ll let her go; otherwise I’ll stick her back under cover for another day.
I’d just like the room back and some money to get my Squareback on the road.
Last on the road in 2003, according to the tags.

That looks like a very reasonable price. Of course it will have rust. If you own a volkswagen you own rust, thats the way it is. I used to live near the bowls club in Moorooka, would this have been parked on the street last year?

but alot of stuff is available as cheap knock offs from china or one of those 3rd world countries.
