1967 Myers Manx, was given a fairly comprehensive rebuild in 2007, and I have maintained it to a high standard since.
Motor is a 1641 wich was rebuilt by VW guru Trever Luckhurst 18 months ago. It is balanced, has a mild cam and runs very sweet, just a bit noisy with
the cannons.
It has the original softop and the side curtains were replaced 6 months ago.
All original Manx badges front and back, and the dash was signed by Bruce Myers in 2008 at Buggyfest in Brisbane. I have had the car for 5 years and I
bought it off a doctor who had the car for 20 years. I have the Queensland Transport registration history and the car comes with a current Queensland
Safety Certificate. Registration is currently club/historic (non-transferable), so you will need to pay for rego when you submit the safety
certificate to Transport.
Car is registered as a 4 seater, and my 8 and 7 year old kids fit the back seat perfectly, but probably not for much longer!.
The car is very original, including the wide five wheels and low back seats, it also has 4 wheel drum brakes, swinger rear and Link and King pin
front. They dont come more stock, but is fun to drive and will go anywhere!
I am in no hurry to sell, I have bought a nice old XY falcon to keep me company, but will be starting a Manxter build once this buggy is sold.
I want 25k for the old girl, which I know its a lot of money for a Manx, but I have already been offerred 15k, and believe given its originality is
worth the money.
Car is located at Oxley in BrisVegas
