Pretty good value at five grand! wouldn't be very noisy:smilegrin:

What would it cost to build a new 1835? Drop the engine out and sell what's left to a Gyro bloke, those blades are worth mebe $1000

Thats a bargain

waveman1500 - August 3rd, 2012 at 07:31 PM

It's kind of interesting that it's got an SU on it as well. I certainly wouldn't be game to fly it in any case. I'm happy to drive dodgy cars, but you don't want anything to be dodgy in a rotary-wing aircraft! Minor problems will see you back on the ground very quickly, and not necessarily in one piece.

....ahhh looking at the images brings back Mad Max for me ...........

good luck with the sale ..............

I'm nervous just looking at that thing!!

Apparently gyro's have a glide ratio similar to a light aircraft......................still not enough for me.

Good luck with the sale, free bump.

it looks like your sitting on the petrol tank ,good luck with that

Gyros are pretty safe they just float down when the engine cuts out and flair out nice and soft when they get close to the ground they dont even need suspension ! the real scary bit on this is the fuel tank built into the seat
