I've decided to sell my 55 Oval window. Ive had the car for around four years after buying it off the original owner who had it since new. It was his wife's car. He told me he drove it into his shed over ten years before I bought it and that's where it sat until I grabbed it. He told me it'd been garaged all it's life while he owned it and it's been up the back of my shed all the time I've had it.

Has a 40hp motor, non original. It's not running now, but is all there. It's been sitting all that time, so it would need the usual work - brakes looked at etc.

This thing will make an ideal resto or Rat project. Body is VERY good. The only rust I've seen is under the battery, so not a biggie to fix, a couple of small 10c piece size holes.

All the important Oval bits are on this car, it's original bonnet, boot, it's got the batwing steering wheel, correct doors, fuel tank, gear stick, pedals, heart tail lights and all the glass is correct and original. Windscreen is broken, but I have another good one. It needs semaphores but does have Hella lights for indicators (typical replacement for the time). The interior is shot, needs to be redone, no headlining and the seats are ordinary.

It comes with another set of seats, which you could use to get you on the road. Also comes with a five spare guards and some trim pieces that I got when I bought the car. There are other spares inside the car, which the old owner threw in at the time, to be honest, I'm not sure what's there and I can't be shagged pulling everything out of it to see what's in there.

It's had a repaint at some stage of its life, but a long time ago.

To be honest, I'm selling it because I'll never get the thing completed. It was going to be a toy for the wife, she's not interested in it anymore and neither am I. It just sits here and gathers dust. Also, gotta make some more room for an Impala, arriving soon.

I never really intended to sell it, but recently I said I'd sell it to a mate, who hounded me for some time to about it, but today he pulled out of the sale for personal reasons. So after that, I decided to advertise it.

If it doesn't sell, it'll sit up the back of my shed I suppose for another ten years and gather a heap more dust...lol

I'm not interested in selling parts alone, if it goes, the whole lot goes.
