Jenbob - November 11th, 2012 at 03:08 PM

First of all is the 74 1.6 twin port, i bought this unregistered about 4 months ago, since then i have spent alot of time and money on it.
i took it to custom veedub in stafford for roadworthy, where all the work was completed includes new gt tip exhaust system, full service, tune and tappets and other bits and bobs for roadworthy,
other extras i have bought for it, includes,
roofrack
external sunvisor
early bumpers,
decklid spacers
gt tips
custom low bucket seats,
customer gear shifter (its a beer tap)
c.d player and sound system,
new tyres
rusty crusty hubcap

paint is O.G and has some nice crows feet and flaking no signs of cancer,
interior is a bit ratty but not to bad,

lowered like to splines at back, and 165/55 upfront ready for adjustable beam but never got round to it.

has rego until may 2013 can be sold with or without.

price $5000 neg on the road, open to offers or trades for other veedubs.

now for the 65. bought this unregister too, with the idea of getting it on the road for my girlfriend to use, has a rebuild standard engine which is running really good, however this previously has been painted to match its O.g white paint but not very well, interior is in pretty poor shape too, but apart from that i do not think it will need alot to get a roadworthy. has a adjustable beam at the front, i also have some drop spindles, ratty bonnet and arch, mirror and other little bits for it, would be a awesome and very easy rat, put the droppys on and sand back the patch work paint job done.

your mix of 2 widies at the back is right for good handling on 6 volt swinger bugs
(btw is it a 12 vlt syst. now)
good score on the rack and bonnet guys lol
B

69bug - November 24th, 2012 at 09:14 PM

Damn what seats are they in the olive bug?

Jenbob - November 25th, 2012 at 11:02 AM

I dont think that the deck lid is the original, it only has a 1.2 engine, which is still 6 volt! There is no reserve on the white one on eBay, and a full decription, thanks for the bonnet and roof rack lol,

And the seats are from a buggy, with old Skool beaded seat covers!
