Haye guys/girls,
Just wondering what the 1916cc boys are running in the way of, make of plugs and gap sizes !!!
Gonna change mine soon and as new motor to me just wondering what ya all running !!
Any to watch out for giving bad running and stuff !!!!
I'm at work at the moment, so I'll check tomorrow and let ya know.
Eventually got the rotten stinken thing out.
It's a BOSCH super RO 082
If that helps?
Bocshe super plugs (W8AC) and run them at .030 (inch) with a blue coil or if you have an MSD style ignition box, go to a gap of .040 (inch)
RO 082 isn't the actual Part Number of the Spark plug. Its BOSCH W8AC and I always coat the thread with Anti-Seize... makes it so much easier
to unscrew.
If You use the genuine VW High tension spark plug leads with the bakelite cap with inbuilt resistor, the metal caps on the top of the spark plugs must
be left off. If You are using Non genuine type high tension leads with flexible spark plug caps, the small cap on the end of the spark plug must be
screwed on tightly.

Thanks Lee
It wasn't hard to get out cause it was in so tight, it was hard to get out cause of the damn position, angle and tinware. But the anti-sieze
sounds like a good idea.
Be careful how you use the anti-sieze: they usually contain metal and can short your plugs if you use too much. VW only ever recommended clean threads and oil.
yeah its reccomended that you only coat the top 1/3 of the thread
