How to find T1 part numbers?
eraser - January 2nd, 2013 at 07:30 PM

Afternoon all,

Again its 5 steps forward 3 steps backwards with my motor rebuild.

It appears that the motor mount bolt opposite the starter motor has disappeared, along with 5 of the transmission oil plate bolts. I remember using a kind of blown out map/plan of the vw beetles chassis/motor (Kind of like west coast metric used to use). Is this online somewhere? I have about 12 VW beetle manuals and none seem to have this (Im guessing it would be a workshop manual thing),

Any help greatly appreciated.

Maybe this, but assume these are just the Wolfsburg West part numbers.

Thanks TorxKiwi, that second (samba) link whilst not having the 1968 listed gives me somewhere to start. And the items linked from wolfsburg look very close to what im after.

whathaveidone i could but i have no idea of the length, thread type or tensile strength, i could even go to bunnings :P

Thanks guys.
