Need to do some work on my engine and clean it up before some reassembly. It is currently sitting on the floor of my garage which isnt really very
convenient.
I want to get something on wheels so i can move it around.
Is this $100 job from supercheap going to cut the mustard? How does it attach to the engine?
I do not need to split the case. Probobly the most intensive thing I will be doing will be removing the standard Crank Pulley and fitting a degree
pulley. The rest will be clean up work and replacement of Ancillaries. (Pushrod tubes, Fitting Alt and stand, New carb manifold, tinware etc.)
Prefer not to have to modify something too much as I have enough work to do on the car without getting side tracked making things.
If not the Supercheap stand than can anyone reccomend something cheap?
Nicko
Milk crates have always worked for me and are way cheaper than $100
Where are you?
Contact Lindsay Smith. I've bought a couple of things off him, including a bench mounted engine stand. Great product and excellent to deal with.

This is the one I was looking at. Forgot to paste the link.
I need some milk crates on wheels Andrew ha ha.
I bought the one from Supercheap a few years back when it was on sale. 450kg capacity and moves around easy enough.
Bench top ones are good but you have to remember to make sure the bench won't topple forward with the weight of the engine hanging out the front.
This is why a floor standing mount can be better
Well I bought one. And it works quite well so far so I am pleased.
cool, I got the engine crane from SCA. works well for 200 bucks.
