As per header. Which is recommended for 82mm crank and why?
Cheers Gurus

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure b pistons are better for stroker as they keep the engine width down.

shorter skirt clearance for conrods.

Pin height is different in the piston, barrels are the same. Pin is 6.5 mm closer to the piston top on a B kit, therefore for an 82 stroke engine, with stock rod length the engine should end up near stock width (give or take due to shims or custom machining for deck ht or CR).

Thanks for the straight forward answer Matt. How do I measure the pin ht to check which pistons I have?

If you measure the distance from the pin to the top with a vernier, an A piston is 28.5 and a B is 22mm
