1.25:1 Rockers - Experience?
sander288 - June 26th, 2013 at 08:32 AM

I've been looking at getting a bit more out of the 1300 with some additions and these scat rockers slip on the stock shafts without much fuss with pushrods or shafts

https://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=C15-20188AS

has anyone used these before? or any 1.25:1 rockers?

My current cam is a Pobjoy 37/68

Cheers for any help

Shaun

Wouldn't it be best to ring Stan seeing as its his cam and if your heads will flow the extra lift....stop watching pompoms footage,lol......

its actually a Tighe cam, and yes the 1:25's work fine with it.

I do need to stop watching Ian's videos that is for sure; I've emailed tighe cams but will get into contact with Stan as well to see how it runs.

My experience is good.even with a stock engine, throw some 1:25 s ,tuned exhaust, 009 dizzy and a bigger carb and they really come alive.
You can feel the difference.

Yeah it's probably worth a go; it's already got kadrons, compression, Bosch 019, just need a better exhaust and some more head improvements really which is where these rockers fit in

+1. Done it a few times, works real good, 1.4s on a stock motor work well too.
