Hi,
I have a question that I am hoping someone else has answered. When driving my bug under 70km/h with the window down everything is fine. But when I get
on the freeway the headliner gets air under it. If I close the windows all is good, no air in the headliner.
I am trying to figure out where the air is coming from.
I don't have any of the roof channels plugged in either the boot or the engine bay, could the air be coming in there?
Anyone got any ideas?
Matt.
We used to fit weathershields to ease the wind noise into the car, when it gets to the back of the passenger compartment it is swirling and has to go some where. I saw a window sticker that said "Do not open windows over 120MPH" p perhaps one of these may help.
Check your bonnet seal. If the rubber is missing, or not touching the bonnet all the way around, air will get in. The faster you go, the more air.
