G'day, I'm trying to ID an engine I have under my house. It has a bolt on alternator bracket and the engine no is AR 108068. Could anyone help with
this? Cheers Chris

It seems to have a single port manifold on it?

heads are easily interchangeable
What David should have said was that it started out life as a twin port 1300

Chris, The ID on the engine case signifies it started life as a 1300 twin port, fitted in '74 and '75. From my experience it would have also been
fitted with an Alternator and twin preheater pipes from the factory.
What the engine is now can only be determined by a combination of a visual inspection, cylinder displacement measurement or removal of the cylinder
heads to measure bore and stroke. Dave
