Is a t3 cv joint and boot the same part used in a t2?

Some parts sites show them as the same part number. Are they directly compatible?

What about the driveshaft part as a whole?
Whats the best way to store some almost new ones that have been removed (still greased but contaminated with grass/dirt from removal)? They are German
made ones so I'm guessing not cheapies, would be good to keep. Should they be washed off then regreased lightly (or fully) and bagged/sealed up?

T3 Drive shafts are longer.
The manual ones are about 546mm long, whereas T2 bus ones are about 476mm long.
