Any body know what size bearings are in a 73 squareback alternator?
Also anybody know if there is a seal kit for a auto gear box?

Parts for the Auto's seem to be generally unavailable (new) now. Was told by auto. specialist he couldn't get bands etc. We couldn't even buy a pan gasket for our last type 3 auto! ...So sold it

It is possible to convert an auto. type 3 to a manual, but it doesn't sound really easy to me... there would be many parts to change... the more mechanically-astute could probably list what is needed...

Talk to Aaron (20bkombi) on here... There isn't a thing he doesn't know about type 3s and vw auto transmissions...
