Has anyone had a hole in their water holding tank? What did you use to patch it up?

Is it steel or plastic?

I don't know what is made of

How big is the hole, is there any way you can get at the hole from inside the tank?

Could be welded or soldered if metal (lead free solder of course) or plastic welded for a plastic tank.

For a quick emergency fix either gaffer tape or fabric impregnated with epoxy glue like araldite.

Easier to fix than a fuel tank. No kaboom.
