I had a quick look see for ya and IMO the MTX is the better option as you can still connect a laptop to the thing for mapping purposes but this ones
has a gauge for you to see things real time whilst driving.
Are you using this for self diagnosis/tuning purposes whilst driving instead of having a rolling road do the tuning?
i just bought a mtx-l will report back once installed
these are awesome, I got one and its great. even has a calibration sequence on boot up. only $105 USD

I havent had any luck with innovate stuff. First one I had was very sensitive to ignition noise, and the LM2 i have now has been extremely unreliable with its logging. The SD card slot has now failed completly on it. Some people seem to love them though.
using it for tuning on my current motor and for my efi turbo when its done so it needs to be suitable for both ....... its a shame mr speedy cause i have heard of fake ones out there where did you get yours from
First one was through mario velotta who sells the VW efi kits in USA. Would drop out and glitch badly, cured mostly by moving the unit away from the noise. The second one was from a large US retailer, i forget which. It will still work as a live readout but that isnt much use in a drag car.
On the advice of a friend, who had a lot of experience with these units, I fitted a Heat-Sink Bung Extender. It was expensive, but evidently it
protects the Lambda sensor.
My MX-1 has given no trouble, and I tend to glance at it more often than I thought I would. It takes the guess-work out of tuning for altitude/weather changes.

thank you greg thats great advise im glad you had a great experience with the above product did you buy it from that supplier or from the australian distributors
Anton [Anton's Race Electrics], who I mentioned above, got hold of all the 'stuff' I needed from the local distributors. Fitting was simple....I welded the M18 thread in, just before the muffler.
thanks greg thank you for your experience
