hi
my 59 beetle ive noticed had been disconnected at carby end
im just completing restoration
my question is I can see where it goes but there is like a little bolt and nut
how does it go on
I thought it would go through a hole
or do you just jam it between the bolt and nut and do it up im looking for pictures to see

I'd have to check mine tomoro but pretty sure the OE bolt had a holes for the cable to go thru.

There is a sleeve on the bolt that slides back from the head to expose the hole for the inner cable to slide through then the nut is tightened and locks the cable in place.

ok ill have another look I thought there must be a hole in there somewhere thanks heaps
