Just looking for some direction.

So the misses is leaving the driveway and hears a bang- then 'Pam'
Won't move. A quick look told me the accelerator cable had snapped off at the pedal.

Search YouTube/blogs tells me firstly that my connection to the pedal roller thing was dodgy to begin with- but my question is that I don't know where the cable enters the floor well from. There is no sleeve type thing entering the well. I just have two holes in the wall beside/below the pedal roller.

So do I just feed into holes until I find one that hits the engine end!
All the pics I could find where from either left hand drive bugs or alternatively had sleeves protruding alongside the pedal roller. I have nothing at that height level- just two holes on the floor in the general vicinity.

Umm- anyone able to post a pic of theirs to help a poor bloke out?

Cable is situated on the opposite side of the tunnel to the pedals under a wee cover.
