Good day Guys,
I would like to know if any of you guys have used 48mm dellortos on your cars. What was the performance like in comparison to a 48mm weber, was there
any difference in mileage.

What size and type of engine you thinking of using the 48s on? I've always been happy with 45 Dells for most mid to large engine builds and
personally like the 36 and 40 Dells for small to mid street engines.
If however you are building a full kill engine with large cam, head and exhaust, the 48s will work with the right combination of ventury and jets.

I have a set on my 2276 in my Ghia, 10.8 to 1, FK 87 cam, street eliminator heads, idles at 900 RPM, run's 40 MM chokes, I can back up my steep drive
way in reverse at 1800 RPM, very tractable, pulls to 7250 RPM, I cannot comment about the 48 IDA's but they do everything I ask of them, only
drawback is the lack of emulation tube's with only four sizes available.

Wow impressive. Do you have stock gears in your gearbox.
