Hi Guys
I am missing the bolts for engine to gearbox.
Can anyone tell me what size they are supposed to be

Cheers
Ash

G'day Ash,

[Most of this you probably already know, but here goes..:dork:]

There are 4 positions where the engine mates to the gearbox obviously, but only 3 of them have nuts, the other one is a bolt and a nut..

Looking from the rear of the car - in at the engine, the bolt on your left hand side at the top will be the one without the nut. This bolt is approx. 75mm long. The bolt screws into a thread on the case.

The Bolt that goes through the starter motor is approx. 120mm long. It has a nut around behind the fan shroud.

Sorry, i can't help too much with the bottom bolts, but hopefully someone else will be able to. The 2 bottom positions have the studs coming through from the engine. There are 2 nuts that bolt on the underside of the gearbox.

Cheers,
Denver

Bottom bolts are studs only.

If someone hasn't removed them that is :)

Bolts are M10x1.5 pitch IIRC but I can't remember the length.

Starter bolt is longer and has a D shaped head as that's meant to stop it spinning when doing the nut up on the engine side. You can use a normal long bolt but trying to get a socket or spanner to the gearbox side to stop the thing spinning can be tricky.
