advice removing brake drum

Have tried to remove my rear brake drums off the T3 but have had no success. Am i missing something? Do I need to undo the hub nut for this?

No, but they can be a real pain. Penetrating fluid and a rubber hammer, and backing the brakes off is important

Yeah tried everything but penetrating fluid, Matt. Thanks though and I'm starting to wonder if they have ever been off before!

Sometimes hitting the face of the drum at 3 points 120 degrees apart is enough to shock the drum free of any rust that's holding it in place. Not super hard though or you can damage things.

yeah , rubber / plastic mallet and try and bounce / vibrate the drum off the hub.

Had another go at removing the brake drums with no luck. So it looks like a trip to the mechanic is in order. It looks like the drums have never been removed. Also cannot find anyway to release the shoes through the backing plate as no holes in them with plugs. Bit surprised at this but spent quite a bit of time looking for them but none to be found.

Mike can do it for me now as I've had enough of it!
