Any one know of a good rechromer in melbourne? need to get the front and rear bumpers rechormed on my 1971 beetle. How much will it cost me roughly? Bars are not dented and only minor surface rust.

Mine cost $ 300 each a few years ago and make sure you have no dents as they so do repairs

Panel beat and file any dents so they either have nothing to repair whether they do repairs or not. The filling of imperfections is what increases the plating cost as copper plating is used as the filler and then is sanded back. This is repeated until the imperfection is gone.
