hubcap removal tool
Blue65 - April 18th, 2016 at 10:51 PM

Hi. I bought this hub cap removal tool from Malcom Engineering which is based here in Australia.

It is a two hook design and helps to remove the hub caps without fuss or damage to the wheel or hubcaps.

I got it from ebay. Cost $8

It works great - or I guess the same as the original too. Its easy to use and doesn't scratch the chrome.

btw I'm not affilated with Malcolm in any way- like most owners I'm after good and inexpensive stuff for my car.

If I find something good and useful I like to share it with other owners who are probably in the same predicament like me.

Good price for that :)

I had some 2.5mm galv steel wire lying around from the garden so made one of these meself yonks ago. Good thing I've still got that wire reel cos I have a habit of misplacing the tool :)

Handy tool. The original from my '67 fasty had plastic sleeve around it.

Forgot to mention , sold the car but kept the hubcap removal tool.
