Hi, I am looking at fitting the 911 fuchs wheel. Will replace rotors and drums with new 5 stud. Does any body know who does the blank drilling in Brisbane ? Or do most people use an Empi wheel adaptor ? Quotes i have seen so far for four units supplied, comes in about $800 which seems excessive. Any thoughts or advice would be appeciated.

See if you can track down some 944 front struts and hubs as that may be cheaper and easier.

i got new discs and drums in the right stud patten when i did mine.

I have a pair of 2001 996 stub axles they just need rotors your welcome to have a look and see if your lower ball joint and tie rods and strut diameter are the same as your bug.But if $800 for rotors is a bit steep you might just want to re drill your standard 4 bolt rotors? You use one orignal hole and drill 4 more.Arron Roberts can do that sort of stuff and his hourly rate is fair.

redrilling is also illegal.

John Sherman at Volks Conversions(Labrador) has blanks that he can drill 5x130PCD this will be the easiest and cheapest (and legal) option.
Porsche 944 2 bolt strut hubs are best but becoming harder to find and more expensive. You'll need complete hubs, calipers and rotors, then change the lower ball joint (expensive) and longer tie rods - you will however have brilliant front brakes

Any engineering shop should be more than capable of drilling the new 5 stud pattern or a CNC shop will be more expensive but even quicker to set up and hit go

if you do buy blanks make sure you get the "uniform thickness" ones.

Stock blanks are ribbed to a cross so the thick part is only on the 4 bolt pattern.

the ones I had are the same thickness all the way around

if its too expensive to do it the most basic correct legal way... sell the car now.
