Very confusing using the voogle machine to find the answer to this. I ha e a 34 pict 3 and a 205 vacuum advance dissy. Probably going to go with an electic dissy, but what one? Thanks
you have the best combo available what is your problem with it?
I cant seem to find this serial number on any references. Its sibgle vacuum, but the 34 pict 3 has 2 vacuum ports
no should only have 1 if there is a second it could be a late 34 pict with EGR port

Hope it helps.
The 34 PICT 3 should have ONE vacuum advance connection... Yes Ultrasuede, if you connect the vac. advance properly & it is all working, should
be a good combo. as W'mitty said.
If there is another vacuum port, it will be meant to go to the air cleaner (or possibly manifold, just below the carb. mount, on some earlier
models? -- why that was done I can't understand). (& the JFUR-4 / 905 205 Z should be DUAL mech./vac. advance?)
Beetles with the later style plastic air cleaner housing needed a vacuum port for the dizzy and one for the air cleaner
Cheers

On the 34 PICT-3/4/5, the vac. advance port (a brass tube or spigot) is the small tube on the LHS just above the bypass (large) screw used to adjust
the idle speed. The vac port (similar small brass tube) at the REAR (and rear of car) is connected to the air-cleaner as shown in the picture on
previous post (link above -- 4-connection type shown -- earlier plastic air-cleaners had two connection points on the air-cleaner).
