my first question what would a beetle with a 2ltr and a turbo max out at, and secondly a golf with a 1800 engine and a
turbo kit installed what wold taht max out at, as i am hoping to to togeather these engin specs into the 2 mentioned cars but a long way down the track.

man your gunna need more info than that to get an answer. A turbo with low boost on a stock 2lt type 4 would be lucky to push a beetle to 200kph. The question is what sort of HP are you expecting.
