Hi guys
Wonder if I could get some advice on DCNFs. ie - fitting twins to my 1835 and would like to know approximate jet sizes to start with and where to purchase additional jets from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers:)

These are 2 sites woth reading on how to jet your carbs

http://www.redlineweber.com/html/Tech/Table_of_contents.htm

http://www.aircooled.net/gnrlsite/resource/articles.htm

I have scanned some pages on DNCF's but it is at work and i am away for 2 weeks. Try Helterskelter or Cray. I believe they both have the pages

As for jetting sizes
Idles - what ever the motor wants. 95% of cases it is a 50 - 55 idle. That said my IDF's want a 40 ;) Read those articles and you will see that there is a sweet spot on the mixture screws. THIS ALONE determines you idles

Mains should be 4.1ish X venturis size. If you have 32mm vents then a 130ish jet is a good starting point

Airs shoud be 50+ your mains.

So in my case it is 40 / 130 / 180. This is with a F11 Emulsion tube

Your vents are determined by your valve size. They say 3mm small than you inlet or say your exhaust valve.

28mm vents are too small for anything. A stock valved head (35/32) should have at least 32.

A big valved 40/35 should be at least 34 or 36

Where to buy?
Well dunno about Tas but most go fast shops sell jets. A company called Carburettor Service @ Burwood Sydney does mail order. Cant find the # at the moment
