hey, as i tighten the flywheel going onto the 1500 it becomes extremely hard to turn over, and when it becomes tighter i cant push it (flywheel ) into
the case (this thats endplay???)
ive taken one shim out of the hole there the seal is, what is happening??

fit the flywheel to the crank with NO shims or Seals and measure the distance it mooves back n forward.
push the crank one way and measure from the outer face of the flywheel to the crankcase then push the crank the opisiteway and measure. this will
give you a figure less 0.004" from that then divide the measurement by 3 and thats the size of thickness of the shims required
If its locking upo then something is WRONG dont go any futher.
is there different size shims or is it just the amount that i put in there?

yes there are about 6 different thickness available.
You have to make up the difference with a quantity of three shims. This is to stop binding.
Make sure you tighten the wheel on first with no shims or seals in place.
how is the rear seal removed, the Large end seal

Use a flat blade screwdriver and lever it out trying not to damage the soft case. You can pivot of the end of the crankshaft.
thanks for your help guys, worked it out today.... .23mm shims what i need and .24 is available so im set 
will order them and have the engine goin in no time
