hello

i have a problem with a solex 31 pict 4 carb, it idles on high rpm (around 1,200) with the idle screw close and the choke lever fully open(warmed up engine), i've already replaced the mixture and idle screws o rings but still having the same problem, any ideas anyone?

Is the throttle arm returning??

A lean leak would cause it to idle high

all the mainfold gaskets are *new* and the engine doesn't seems like running too lean (no pings backfires or anything) it's working nice and smooth but very high on rev.

the throthle arm returns with no problem..

actaully it seems like too reach... but the mixture screw is set up correctly... (about 3 spins out)...

Butterfly = throttle plate

If that is binding and being held open it would cause it to idle high
